Church Re-ordering: 2. Proposals Phase 1: Provision of the fixed platform for a moveable nave altar with the consequent re-siting of the pulpit and memorial pews. Stone rail to be removed but retained for possible re-siting later. Redecoration. Critical appraisal of the sound system. Provision of new chairs in the Lady Chapel. Phase 2: Provision of a new internal lobby at the back of the church, with consequent internal alterations to the rear pews. Modifications to porch to provide disabled access. Phase 3: Provision of external toilet and storage Phase 4: Provision of moveable choir stalls. Re-fixing of stone rail. Re-appraisal of pew/chair situation. The result of the ballot was : Yes - 21. No - 4. Abstentions - 3 Read response of Diocesan Advisory Committee |
