Sunday Club

We urgently need additional helpers/leaders as we often have between 35 and 40 children each week! Please speak to one of us if you can help.

SINGING 1 St Chad 's has always enjoyed a strong choral tradition. For this to continue there is need for recruitment of choir members, both youngsters and adults. If you would like to be considered for the choir please let either the Vicar or Richard Wilson (2662823) know. Richard will then arrange a convenient date for an audition.

ELECTED AND APPOINTED Following their election at the ACM, Anne Futers and Mike Willison were duly appointed our Churchwardens at the Archdeacon's Visitation held at St Luke's, Holbeck, on 14th May. Both Anne and Mike have served as Wardens before and we look forward to their leadership. Our thanks go to Chris Milestone at the end of a two-year stint as Churchwarden during which time he has worked tirelessly on our behalf.

One City Projects and Leeds Simon Community invite you to an evening session to look at the issue of homelessness. The aim is to give an understanding of what exactly homelessness is, what causes it and whom it affects. We shall also look at what kinds of support needs those who are homeless have, and what services are available in the city to meet those needs. From this we would hope that participants would then be better equipped to think about what they could do to help the situation and how best they could achieve meaningful outcomes.

THANK YOU to Ann Thornton who has recently relinquished her role as organiser of the Sunday morning post-Communion coffee at the Parish Centre. Ann has been doing this task for 30 years, and has the gratitude of us all for so doing. I am pleased to have presented Ann with a tangible expression of our thanks following generous donations at recent after-service gatherings.

SCHOOL St Chad 's School ‘End of Year' service will be held in church on Wednesday 16th July at 9.30 am. Staff and pupils are always pleased to see members of our regular congregation at their services.
