Regular Services Sundays 8.00 a.m. Holy Communion. (1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays at St. Chad's, 2nd & 4th at St. Michael's). A traditional service using the Book of Common Prayer 9.30 a.m. THE PARISH COMMUNION / PARISH PRAISE Parish Communion: We use the Common Worship for this, the main Family Service of the week. The Choir plays a leading role in the worship. The Church of England has whole section of its website devoted to this revised service, including texts and resources. Parish Praise: Each second Sunday of the month there is less formal worship at a service in which the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Ventures, Sunday Club and Sunday School take part. Apres Church: After the 9.30 Service there is coffee, a chat and a chance to catch up with each other and with new faces at the Parish Centre. Sunday lunch is often later than intended !!
