I joined Sheffield Photographic Society in the early 1970s when I first came to live in the city. During the next ten years
or so I used slide film almost exclusively and didn't do any darkroom work. Marriage, a family and then a Computer Studies
degree course meant less and less time for photography, other than family snapshots, and I stopped attending SPS.
My interest in computers and the arrival of affordable digital cameras rekindled my interest and I rejoined SPS in 2002.

Initially, these pages were developed to prove something to my kids but I now find them to be a convenient way of showing
other people a small selection of my pictures. I hope you enjoy them.

Camera - Canon 400D with a mix of Canon and Sigma lenses or a Canon Sureshot.
Software - Photoshop CS3 but I enjoy experimenting with graphics programs such as GIMP and Project Dogwaffle.
Printer - Epson Stylus Photo 1290S.
