Biography
I started doing comedy way back when, in the comedy clubs of South London on my own doing weird characters. Then did shows with Tom Meeten called Oram & Meeten up in Edinburgh in the years of 2000 til 2002 and then we got our Comedy Lab on Channel 4 which we named Matthew & Tone. Since then I've done lots of good fun live stuff such as Ealing Live and Oram & Meeten's Club Fantastico and gigs all over the place, very often changing in toilets in the early days, but now I tend to get a shared indoor area. In 2005 I did my own show in Edinburgh called Denim in which I did lots of characters, plus lots of songs set in a shopping centre about people wearing denim. On telly I've done lots of various things over the years like The Mighty Boosh, Tittybangbang, Suburban Shootout, The Pilot Show... Plus I've also been in It's All Gone Pete Tong, a feature film out in Ibiza. I've also been keenly making my own movies and ones with Tom which I've put on this website for you to sweat over. One of my short films called Connections got selected for Cannes film festival in 2008 which made me pleased. I've also done lots of stuff with the lovely Alice Lowe and we are at the moment writing a feature film called The Sightseers and touring with Steve Coogan. That is about that for now but more stuff will probably happen.
