JW Houston ... professional vocal entertainer |
JW recently recorded and released Sidewinder, a new CD album project containing 14 new up tempo songs co-written and co-produced by JW Houston. Drawing upon her many musical influences the CD contains material ranging from Country Blues, Rhythm n' Blues through to lively toe tappin' Texas Swing, Cajun and East Cost Swing sounds.
The CD was recorded at Mikron Studios in Nashville by Mike Headrick, a well known and respected producer and was mixed in the UK by JW. Some of Nashville's finest session musicians were hired for the project.
JW's strong and very distinctive vocal is supported by killer arrangements using electric and acoustic guitars, percussion, drums, keyboards, pedal steel, accordion, harmonica, dobro, fiddle, mandolin and superb back up vocals.
