Versatile female vocal entertainer JW Houston is an established name on the music scene in the North of England having performed at many live music, cabaret and specialist country music venues during the past four and a half years.

JW’s early musical influences were dominated by the stars of the 50's & 60‘s:- Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Dusty Springfield and Patsy Cline being the most important. More recently JW has been heavily influenced by various artists from the US music scene, especially Shania Twain, Cher and Tina Turner. JW is also a keen follower of current UK pop chart music, with S Club 7, The Spice Girls, Kylie Minogue and Geri Halliwell listed amongst her current favorites.

Raised in the US and educated in the UK, JW is a classically trained vocalist, who studied voice, keyboards, music, drama and stagecraft at a professional drama school in London before going to work on a number of musical and theatrical projects. In recent years JW has concentrated on performing her own solo music show at a variety of venues and events throughout the North of England!

JW provides an exciting evening of entertainment for many types of functions and events including weddings and cabaret. Her repertoire now combines  popular chart numbers made famous by the likes of S Club 7, Atomic Kitten, Geri Halliwell, Kylie, Tina Turner and Cher with well-known sing-along classics from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s, including material from the likes of Patsy Cline, Diana Ross, Frank Sinatra and Elvis!

JW also performs a specialist country music show as well as a 50's & 60's tribute titled "Lets Rock n' Roll"!
