Have you ever considered playing in a brass band? Are you new to the area and are looking for a band to play along with? Did you use to play a brass instrument but have lapsed?

Have you ever played the Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone or Percussion in an orchestra? Would you like to play for more than ten minutes in a nights practice? Have you ever thought of playing in a brass band where brass and percussion don't play second fiddle to anyone!

Then why not consider joining the Cubbington Silver Band! A number of our players had not actively played for between ten and twenty years, but now enjoy playing in the friendly and convivial atmosphere of a village band.

What can the Band do for You?

The Cubbington Silver Band can provide you with an instrument, uniform, music and an opportunity to play in a competitions. We also play at a large number of local events including our own concerts and actively take part in the local community. If you are new to brass banding, we can help you learn to play an instrument, learn the rudiments of musical technique and acquaint you with brass band world.

 

What can You do for the Band?

All the band asks of its players is to attend as many of our rehearsals as possible and to take part in as many of our concert and competition performances as you can. You can become more involved in the band if you wish, the choice is yours.
