Why have an Inspection?
It would not be unusual after an Inspection to find that a vehicle required 2 or 3 tyres, a section of exhaust, and possibly a set of brake pads. These repairs are normal wear-and-tear items which are found on most Before Purchase Inspections. It could be argued that the cost of an Inspection, whether it was £115 or £175 would easily be recouped by identifying these repairs/replacements required before purchase, so in effect the Inspection has cost nothing!!
Commonly found Horrors!!
Extensively accident-damaged vehicles
Poor post-accident repairs
"Cut-and Shuts" (two halves of different vehicles welded together)
Badly worn steering components
Badly worn suspension and braking systems
ABS and airbag systems that have been disabled, and been made to appear to work, but do not
"Clocked" vehicles
So, if considering a car purchase, why not use one of our services to give you peace of mind, or help in your price negotiations? Also, our services are not only for those considering car purchases. If selling a car, why not use one of our services to provide a report detailing the condition of your vehicle? This would make available to a prospective customer the information he/she would require about your car, helping to make a sale easier.
