Heath and Reach is approximately 2 miles north-east of Leighton Buzzard, in the county of Bedfordshire. The were originally two separate hamlets, Heath, and Reach, they shared join chapelry.

Churches

Church of England - The Church of St Leonard, rebuilt with the exception of the tower, in 1829, is a plain building in the Gothic style, consisting of chancel, nave, south porch, and a low embattled western tower containing one bell, the chancel was added, and the whole church newly seated in 1866. The earlier registered is included in that of Leighton Buzzard, which dates from 1562: there is a seperate register from the year 1813.

Non-Conformist - There is a Baptist chapel, a Primitive Methodist chapel; built in 1863, and a Wesleyan chapel, built in 1877.

Schools

There is a National school, rebuilt in 1863, and opened in 1864; there are also three Sunday schools.
