| Parish Records Baptism Entries - These include the child's full name and the first names of the parents, the date of the baptism and the vicars name. Census's Records Census's have been taken every ten years starting with 1841. They are not available to the public until they are 100 years old however. This means the most recent one available is from 1891. Censuses have information about who was where on the day it was taken. They give the full name, age, relationship to the head of the house, marriage condition, occupation and place of birth. 1881 Census - this census has been put on to CD-Rom, by the Latter-day saints. If you would like me to look up someone in this census please contact me. 1901 Census - the Public Record Office are transcribing this and hopefully will have it online for January 2002. Certificates Birth Certificates - these were made compulsory in 1836. They contain when and where born, name, sex, name of father, name of mother, rank or profession of father, description of informant, date registered and district registered in. Marriage Certificates - Death Certificates - contain the following information, registration district, when and where died, name, sex, age, occupation, cause of death, name and address of informant and when registered.
