Map OS ref This is the Ogham Stone which can be found on Caldey Island within St.Illtud's church. The stone carries an inscription in Ogham, about twenty letters. This form of lettering is denoted by notches cut into the edge of the stone. This writing dates back to about the third or fourth century BC. There is Latin text on the front face of the stone. |
