Map OS Ref SH501861 Eight upright stones support the capstone estimated to weigh about 25 tons. Much of the chamber is below ground level in a natural hollow. The site is ringed by fencing so its impossible to get close.

A short walk past
the burial chamber leads to Din Lligwy hut group. A beautifully
peaceful area and its not difficult to close one's eyes and imagine the
life of an ancient village here, smoke drifting and children
playing.
A mixture of round and rectangular hut bases remain in good order and its well worth a visit even if the chamber is disappointing. |
