TANNING SYSTEMS

CP5 - WHITE TAN
The best tanning system for use on all mammal skins for Taxidermy, from Weasel to Elephant. Also used for large reptiles and fish, etc. 2 gal - £8.25 (Bulk packs available)

CP6 - K-TAN
The most well established and recommended tanning system for the tanning of skins, with the hair on, for rugs etc., Suitable for all skins to the size of Red Deer, also Sheep skins. K-Tan is a 'Brush on' system. Skins tanned with K-Tan are washable. Ideal for Fox furs for clothing or big game skins for rugs. £16.45

CP12 - PELT OIL
A sulphonated oil, superior and cleaner to use than old-fashioned fatty oils. Supplied in a jar in concentrated form, makes two pints. To use, brush into the pelt before drying or fixing to the manikin. 30 ml - £2.45

CP23- WETTING BACK AGENT
Essential to aid the rapid softening of dried skins in a soak, prior to tanning, also when relaxing bird or mammal skins from the dried condition, prior to mounting. 500ml - £5.75

CP24 - LITMUS PAPER
A book of 25 leaves, for testing the strength of CP5 White Tan solution. 25 leaves - £1.90

CP26 - DEGREASANT
Use in the washing of bird, mammal and other skins, before tannage or application of preservatives. Removes natural oils and fats from fur, feather and the pelt. Use as directed. 250 ml - £6.95

CP41 - NEOSYN RH
A syntan product, giving a white finish suitable for the tanning of mammal skins, Sheep skins with the hair or wool on, or for leather. 500g - £6.25 (Bulk packs available)

CP45 - ENVIRO-TAN
A vegetable tanning system primarily used for "hair off" leather tannage, giving a light tan colour finish. 450g - £8.95 (Bulk packs available)
