MODELLING MATERIALS


A - Mixing Spatula, B - Modelling Tools.

CP11 - PEARL GLUE
This traditional glue is most useful in the workshop . The finest for making papier mache, rock work, scenery, repairing specimens, cases and many other uses. It can be made very thin or thickened as required. 250g - £4.70 (Bulk packs available)

CP13 - CLAY POWDER
Fine China Clay powder, mix with water either thick for modelling or thin for use as a slick to assist slide when fixing skin to the manikin. 450g - £3.60 (Bulk packs available)

CP14 - MOULDING PLASTER
An excellent grade for fine detail moulding. A longer working time than Plaster of Paris. 450g - £3.55 (Bulk packs available)

CP15 - WOODWOOL COARSE
Heavy grade used for making the manikins of medium/large birds and mammals in the traditional way. 450g - £5.25 (Bulk packs available)

CP16 - WOODWOOL FINE
A lighter grade than above. Used for making the manikins of smaller birds and mammals, in the traditional way. Also used over heavier grades to aid in a smoother finish. 225g - £4.95 (Bulk packs available)

CP17 - TAXIDERMY PUTTY
This is a two part EPOXY PUTTY, used for modelling facial details, making tongues, mouth interiors etc. For repairs and making items for habitats. It will set under water and is heat resistant to 130'C. Supplied in standard grey or white (CP17a). std - £3.95 (Bulk packs available)

CP18 - TOW
For making part or whole manikins of small section, in the traditional manner. Necks, legs, wings, tails etc. 125g - £3.60

CP19 - MANIKIN SCRIM HEAVY
For covering woodwool manikins, saving heavy windings. Also consolidates the shape prior to coating with Manikin Finish. 10m - £3.25

CP20 - MANIKIN SCRIM FINE
Finer grade than the above, used for covering fine Woodwool or Tow manikins, prior to coating with Manikin Finish. 10m - £2.60, 100m - £5.90

CP21 - MANIKIN FINISH
A complete and flexible finish which when painted over the manikin retains the form and prevents the movement of windings. 250ml- £6.35

CP22 - MANIKIN BOND (PVA)
Designed to be used when assembling skins on to the manikins of mammals, fish, reptiles etc. Not to be used with skins treated with dry Preservative or Borax. 500ml - £8.95

CP25 - RAFFIA
Use for winding on wires to leg or wing bones, secures and lies flat. 40g - £3.30

CP27 - MANIKIN PLASTER
Smooth grade plaster with extended working time. Used with scrim over woodwool forms to give a firm surface finish. (Use on Trophies & Large Mammals) 3kg - £9.25 5kg - £11.50

CP33 - LATEX
A white liquid casting or mould making product used when making flexible casts or moulds. 250ml - £9.85 (Bulk packs available)

CP34 - MAG. CARB. POWDER
Used as a thickener in Latex to build wall thickness to moulds or casts. 400g - £5.75 1kg - £9.95

CP36 - PLASTER MOULD RELEASE
Release agent used when making two sided or multi-piece moulds in Moulding Plaster, to prevent adhesion of freshly mixed plaster to set plaster. 500ml - £8.30

CP37 - PLASTER MOULD SEALER
A quick drying lacquer applied to plaster mould surfaces prior to the application of release agent and subsequent casting of the model in plaster, urethane or fibreglass. Minimum loss of mould definition. 500ml - £8.35

CP38 - RESIN RELEASE AGENT
Quick drying release agent. Use on plaster or fibreglass moulds when casting in resin, fibreglass etc. 500ml - £9.85

CP39 - FIBREGLASS KIT
Contents: Polyester resin, catalyst, surface tissue and stranded glass matt, for fish reproduction, habitat, etc. £13.85

CP40 - WHITENING
A fine filler powder used with pearl glue when making papier mache or other modelling materials. 3kg - £9.95 5kg - £12.20

CP42 - BROAD SCRIM 12"
Used to cover large areas of woodwool manikins, saving excessive winding. For reinforcement of plaster moulds and casts. 10m - £3.95

CP43 - COMPO-MIX HEAVY
A multipurpose modelling compound containing paper pulp, glue and whitening. May be mixed with other fillers for use in habitat, model and manikin making. 1kg - £4.40

CP44 - COMPO-MIX LIGHT
A lightweight version of CP43, for larger projects. 1kg - £4.80

CP46 - POLY-COMPO
A balanced, quick drying filler composition for casting, habitat, model and manikin making.

CP47 - MICROFIL
A lightweight free flowing powder used to bulk fill resins, compos, and plasters. Useful additive when casting or modelling larger volumes. 450g - £5.40 (Bulk packs available)

CP48 - STYLING WAX
An economical wax for making simple or highly detailed models. The wax may be re-used after each application. 1kg - £12.95 (Bulk packs available)

SPATULAS
