When you land your fish!

• Photograph your catch - Reference is essential.
• Keep the fish cool and deep freeze as soon as possible.
• Do Not gut the fish.

Freezing the fish

1. Put the fish in a polythene bag, exclude all air and seal.
2. Fix the fish best side up, on a piece of hardboard slightly larger than the fish, with cellotape.
3. Place the fish in a deep freeze and ensure no other items are put on top of the fish.
4. Deep freeze for at least 24 hours before sending to Snowdonia Fish Taxidermy Services.
