WINTON OIL COLOURS
To be used in the colouring of all specimens fleshy parts. i.e. Legs, Bills, Eye Lids, Mouth Parts etc. Oil paints are to be used in conjunction with Linseed Oil, Oleopasto, or Turpentine - they may also be mixed with other vehicles - Gloss, Satin or Matt Medium and also Japan Gold Size for example, this assists drying and creates various finishes. ARTISTS ACRYLIC COLOUR
This is a most effective medium for colouring the Legs and Bills of birds, as well as artificial mouth parts etc. Quick drying and can be thinned by adding water. The Acrylic Colour is waterproof when dry. DESIGNERS LIQUID ACRYLIC
Made from the highest quality pigment in an alkali soluble solution. This formulation gives excellent light fastness and durability plus water resistance when dry. The colours are supplied in ready-to-use form, direct from the dropper-cap bottles.
ACRYLIC MEDIUM
A thinning medium for achieving a Matt or Gloss effect, when mixed with acrylic colour. 75ml bottle.
OIL MEDIUMS & FINISHES
PM Gloss, Satin & Matt finishes, are to be mixed with oil paints to give the desired effect, or to be used as a top coat for protection. 30ml jar.
OLEOPASTO - This stiff translucent gel has been designed specifically for texture work which dries to a crack-resistant and virtually non-yellowing film. This medium may also be used as an extender to make the oil paint go further, in this way you may build on layers of colour whilst using minimal amounts of expensive pigments. When used generously with translucent colours, Oleopasto produces an "inner light" effect giving the subject a luminous quality. Available in 60ml tube. £5.95
