The Wardlaw Scottish Dance Band

How it started............

The Wardlaw Scottish Dance Band was formed in 1979 by Kenny Thomson, one of the original members of Derek Lawrence's Scottish Dance Band.

Rather than call it simply "Kenny Thomson and his Scottish Dance Band", Kenny wanted to use a name which could be associated with his hometown area Muirkirk. The result was the name "Wardlaw"
