Sound Sense Music was established over 11 years ago by Andy as a mobile recording service. Based on the success of this a permanent studio was started in Tollesbury, Essex. As the good reputation spread and the projects got bigger, the limitations of the premises became apparent. Andy then approached Tim with the idea of relocating and expanding as a joint venture - pooling equipment, resources and experience. |

Sound Sense Music is now located in its own acoustically designed, purpose built studio with ample parking. They never compromise sound quality for cheap equipment and know their reputation is at stake with every recording made. You can be sure that your project will be treated with the care and professionalism it deserves with the added bonus of two engineers on hand to get you going quicker. So good is the quality, they are often asked to re-mix and sort out work recorded elsewhere. |

A little about the engineers........ Tim An experienced professional musician (see www.essenceduo.com) and a very talented and imaginative keyboard player & midi programmer, with an extensive knowledge of many types of popular music. An excellent arranger who knows how to "sit" instruments in a complex mix. He knows what sounds good, and with Andy makes it happen! An excellent pair of ears. Has even helped Yamaha with keyboard research and development - and has played at Wembley Arena. |

Andy It's not just having the best equipment that makes a good studio - it's knowing it inside out. Probably why he was chosen to assist at South East Essex College with their music technology course. He's a mad genius but what results! He plays guitar and bass and has a really sharp ear for tonal detail. He draws upon a wealth of ideas for pulling the best performances out of people. |
