Champion Lesmo Inca
Our wonderful Blue Ocicat boy.
Inca is already a big cat - he is not quite 7 months old in this picture! He has a lovely head, good strong muzzle, lovely spotting and good overall body type.
He came to us at the age of 6 months, and has settled in well. He enjoys playing with the other cats, and chasing up and down the
stairs with Drifter. Luckily he has not started spraying yet, so can live in the house with the other cats. It took him a while to get used to the dog, but he is a very, very big dog!
Inca has an excellent pedigree, including many lovely cats imported from America. His father, Thickthorn BlueberryBoy, a blue like Inca, was the Best Male adult at the 2005 Ocicat Club
Show.
Inca made his show debut at the Yorkshire Cat Club Championship
Show on October 28th.He won his Open and BOB, as well as getting a first and 2 seconds in big side classes. He's pictured here at the show, enjoying all of
the attention. We're hoping to take him out again in the near future, and may also try a TICA show with him.
Inca is very affectionate, and loves being fussed. His favourite toys are furry mice, "fishing rod" type toys and anything containing catnip. We are really lucky to have been given the chance
to own such a lovely cat, especially as we already have Nancy - they have given us a litter of beautiful kittens this year. The biggest kitten is a blue boy and will
hopefully grow up to be just like his Dad!
Inca went to the Preston & Blackpool Championship show
on March 24th. He won his Open, took Best of Breed, and gained his first Challenge Certificate - he needs three to become a Champion!
Although Inca is primarily for our
own use, we only have one queen at the moment. We therefore allow the occasional visiting queen to keep him happy! If you think you may have a suitable girl and could be interested in using him,
please contact us for further details. Other breeds, where the Ocicat is an allowable outcross, are welcome.
We took Inca to the Durham County Cat Club Show on 26th May. He won his Open, BOB and was awarded his second CC, and did very well
in his side classes too, including 1st in AV Visitors Male. His daughter, Aalspotz DancingDiva, went as well, also winning her Open and BOB, as well as entertaining the crowds - she is a little show-off,
just like her Mum! Inca then won his 3rd CC at Kendal in June, and is now a Champion! He again did well in large side classes too, but he does not really enjoy showing, so will now be retired and enjoy
life at home. We are very pleased with his kittens in his first litters - up-dated photos of his kittens with Nancy can be seen on their litter's page.
