The archive of LIVE AND DANGEROUS

History
LIVE AND DANGEROUS performed their first gig in January 1995, in Warnham Village Hall
near Horsham, W Sussex, supported by good friends, CLASH CITY ROCKERS. The original
line-up came from a couple of local bands - FLAIRZ and JINXT, with only a couple of
changes since.

For those who don't know, the band name comes from the classic Thin Lizzy live double album
(remember those?) of 1978. The band's repertoire covers all of this album except
"Baby Drives Me Crazy", plus hit singles and selected tracks from other albums.

The band has worked hard to reproduce the sounds of the original Thin Lizzy (well we hardly
LOOK like them!), down to the Les Paul guitars and Marshall amps. We even manage a few
pyros, which the punters enjoy, but sometimes leaves pub landlords/ladies looking a bit pale.

The "Boys"...
(taking poetic licence to a new extreme!)

Ray Edmunds - in cheesy pose Ray Edmunds - vocals, bass, pyros, curries
Ray is the front man, whose vocals, bass-playing, and stage moves are eerily close to good
ole Philo's. Having a Thin Lizzy tribute band has long been an ambition of Ray's since seeing TL
in their heyday. Ray fondly recalls queuing outside the Brighton Centre, the mad rush to the
front - and the bruises left on his chest by the scaffolding pole across the front of the stage!

Dave Naylor - drum machine Dave Naylor - drums, northern accent
Dave comes from "up North", wherever that is, but is one of few drummers auditioned who
can play 'triplets' - still, being a schizo must be a big advantage. Previous band was Jinn House
and a few others he's too embarrassed to mention.

Paul Gocher - hairy guitarist Paul Gocher - guitarist, backing vocals, posters, always late
Paul is very loud in all departments - guitar, shirts, hair, vocals - and is paying the price (check-out
the day-glo ear-plugs if you come to see us). Previous band was TEMPEST, who actually got as
far as recording!

Stu Bremner - guitarist, backing vocals, a bit of sax, follicly challenged
Stu has moved on and preferred his picture to be removed.
