Some objections against the Rule of the People and the ERS
It can't work. If the people want this freedom they will elect a government that can make it work. Of cause the Rule of the People would be introduced gradually until the new governing system, the Political Media Network and National Community Forum are all working together.
We can't run the government like that. You don't have to. A new breed of politician is emerging who can run the government based on the Rule of the People. If you can't run the government the way the people want then it is time for you to find an alternative vocation.
The people could reject every annual budget. They could, but the vote is meant to reveal what the people are willing to be taxed on and what they don't want to be taxed on. Their freedom is not to avoid being taxed but to choose on what they will be taxed.
The people could delay important government policies. Important to whom, the government, the EU or the people? If the people reject a policy it is because they don't want that policy. In a True Democracy no government has the right to impose anything on the people that they do not want. To do so would be to revert back to the Dark Age of political slavery and pseudo democracy of which our current political governing system is the lingering hangover.
The people would be bogged down with the amount of government decisions. Nonsense, you could sit down with an ERS terminal and in less than ten minutes you could easily vote on dozens of issues. Ten minutes once a month is no big deal.
People don't understand the complexity of governing a nation. Do politicians really know? You don't need to know how the electronic management system of your car is programmed to drive the car. However, it will be the media in its vast diversity that will mostly educate the people. Finally the people will decide what they want and what they don't want. They may at times get it wrong but they will learn from this.
Even if the people have their rule here they must still obey all EU directives. No external government can have any power over the people of a True Democracy. Politicians signed the Treaty of Rome. Since the people had no referendum on the treaty they can vote to make it null and void. The EU needs our money and sovereignty far more than we need its laws and policies. However, a free nation with a True Democracy can still have trade agreements with old age political systems like the EU and America.
There is nothing wrong with the party political governing system. We don't need or want the Rule of the People and the ERS. Of cause the political parties do not want the Rule of the People and the ERS because they will become, for the first time, the servants of the people. Fortunately it's not up to them; it is the people who will decide what kind of government they will elect. In the understanding of a True Democracy the darkness of old age politics is clearly revealed. When a government tells the people what to do and what not to do that is political slavery and the thin veneer of pseudo democracy where MPs have to toe the party line is an insult to the people of the New Age.
You will destroy our governing system that has taken centuries to perfect. Firstly the system will not be destroyed. It will simply be restructured to accommodate the Rule of the People and the ERS. Secondly our present party political governing system is only perfect for the political parties who compete to rule the people. It is certainly not perfect for the people who have no say in the running of their government after a general election.
Not in a hundred years will this absurd ERS infect our governing system. The duration of the Age of Aquarius is approximately 2400 years. Even if it takes a hundred years or more, the freedom of a True Democracy will be implemented. Now this freedom has been revealed it will never go away. Every time the government does something that the people do not want then the momentum of this freedom will increase. And all that the old age governing systems can do is to delay the inevitable.
I object to the term 'political slavery'. Some people may feel that way. However, in the understanding of a True Democracy, where people have the freedom to accept or reject government proposals, then our current system, where the government dictates to the people, is a form of political slavery.
"The government is elected to tell the people what to do, and they should do as they're told." This is not so much an objection but a statement of fact. At the moment this is the attitude of our government. However, if the people want a new governing system they simply have to demand it and vote wisely.
