The Power of the People
A nation is made up of people, its citizens.
The will of the people is the law of the land.
The will of the people supersedes all courts of law and all governments.
If the majority of people want something then that is the law.
The power of the people is in their right to vote.
They can vote for the tyranny of old age politics or the freedom of a True Democracy.
Three things have brought the people to this point of gaining their right to rule through their elected government.
One: The general public is now intelligent enough to accept or reject government policies, taxes and laws. They no longer need a parental government to tell them what to do.
Two: Technology can now easily connect every home to a central referendum system. This will allow the citizens of a nation to vote for or against whatever the government proposes.
Three: The realisation that the electorate only has to demand a new governing system and vote wisely. Since the people elect the government they can elect a government that obeys the Governing Vote of the people via some sort of ERS network.
This freedom of the people will, in time,
change the political and governing structures of all nations.
It is the beginning of the Age of Enlightenment
where the Power of the People will create a New World Order
that will herald a thousand years of peace.
The first nation to establish the Rule of the People and a True or Direct Democracy will become, eventually, the greatest nation on earth. That nation will be seen as a beacon of light and freedom in the New Age. It will be the founder of the New World Order and it will command more influence on the people of others nations then any of the current superpowers. Great Britain could be the founder of the first True Democracy in the world. Or it could be France, Italy, Spain, Germany, America or any other nation. It is not a question of if it will happen but only of when and what nation will be the first.
