Ashton House is located in a rural setting just one mile from the South Downs. From our drive turn left and you are just 3 minutes walk from the pleasant village of Storrington, offering a variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and banking services. Head in the other direction and take a super route up to the South Downs Way and enjoy the great walking to be had there. Also you can leave your car parked safely off-road.

Our Accommodation

We have three luxuriously appointed guest rooms with delightful rural views. We have a double, a twin and a studio apartment, all with spacious en-suite bathrooms. Provided in the rooms are TV, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. The studio is furnished with a well eqipped kitchen area for those who prefer to self cater.

Storrington is convenient for an array of attractions, some very close indeed. These are just some of them:

Amberley

A charming village which has an impressive museum as well as a castle. (4 miles away from us)

Arundel

An historic town with a castle (the seat of the Duke of Norfolk), a fine cathedral and a host of interesting antique and craft shops.(7 miles)

Petworth House

One of the UK's greatest country houses, full of art treasures, set within parkland landscaped by Capability Brown. (12 miles)

Parham House

A superb Elizabethan house in a rural setting - with an important collection of early embroidery and impressive gardens and park.(2 miles)

Goodwood

Better known for its race meetings and the fabulous "Festival of Speed", don't overlook Goodwood House, the setting for the BBC's recent 'Aristocrats'.Many events all year round. (20 miles)

Chichester

A Roman city with its cathedral and excellent theatre. (19 miles)

Brighton

A seaside town with the 'Lanes' and its many antique shops, the Pavilion, the theatre and a comprehensive selection of restaurants and pubs.

There are many more attractions closeby and London is only an hour away.
