Head north from
Charnock Richard on M6, exit J35 A601(M) Carnforth T/R A6,
Follow A6 to Levens Hall where T/L A590 Barrow.
Coffee stop at Yew Tree Farm, at narrow point just after Lindale Hill.
Continue A590 to
Ulverston T/L A5087 Bardsea and Barrow. In
Barrow, straight on at lights and pick up signs for Dock Museum, T/L at R/A
entry on right.
Lunch either at
museum Café or local KFC / MacD’s 1½ hour stop to allow visit to museum
(free entry)
Turn left out of
exit, to R/A T/L A590, follow A590 to Ulverston, Haverthwaite, T/R B5278
Cartmel, at Flookburgh T/L B5277 Grange over Sands, at Lindale T/R and rejoin
A590 to R/A at Sizergh (JA591)T/R A590 (M6) Cross motorway (A65, Yorkshire
straight on) and immediately T/R A6070 Burton in Kendal.
Dispersal point / coffee stop at Longlands Hotel.
From
Longlands either straight on to M6 at Carnforth (J35) or follow leaders via Over
Kellet, Nether Kellet & Halton to J34.
