The Brasshoppers worked at two schools on consecutive days - the resultant performance in the Courtyard Theatre by the two groups combining to make a 70 piece band bought the house down!

"The best day I’ve had at school ....ever"
Tim Oakley (12 yrs old Alto Saxophonist)

"You got exactly the right tone with the kids: sheer enjoyment in the process of making music - laid back but nontheless aiming for a product to be proud of !"

NOTTINGHAM COLLEGE OF PERFORMING ARTS
The Brasshoppers worked on three occasions (three days each time) with 30 children of the schools company of the Nottinghamshire Education authority helping them to prepare for the Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade (procession). The group subsequently won first prize for the best schools company in the Cavalcade.

"Their approach is one of listening to the brief; preparing thoroughly; adjusting to the level of the group but continuing to make demands and expectations........In comparison to many others they are quite simply in a league of their own."

Alistair Conquer - Director of Educational Performance & Training, Notts.C.C.
