| The library has many resources to support EFP
students. Please ask the Library Clerk if assistance is required to find
information for project work. Books The Library has a large collection of military books and general non-fiction, including country information, international relations and politics. Details of the books are held on the computerised library catalogue. The library also has a comprehensive reference section containing the Statement of Defence Estimates, Defence Statistics, Military Balance and other useful material. CD-ROMs There are CD-ROMs for use in the library, of which Exegy and Britannica are particularly useful. Military Studies Library Service (MSLS) MSLS is an index to periodical and newspaper articles on military and current affairs topics. It is available on CD-ROM and updated monthly in hard copy. Many articles of interest may already be held in the library. Internet The Internet is available for information searches. Guidance to recommended Websites can be found through the ALibS "Front Page". All Internet users must sign the Internet log and agree to abide by the security regulations. Please ask the Library Clerk if assistance is required. Newspapers Daily newspapers are available in the Education Centre for use by EFP students. Periodicals A number of periodicals are available, including:
Requests Books and articles which are not held in the library can be requested from elsewhere in the Army Library Service. Students are reminded that these will take time to arrive. Please make any requests as early as possible to allow for any time delays.
