Favourite hobbies?
Spending time with my family & I'm a big Cardiff City football fan and watch them both home & away.

What is your best life experience so far?
The birth of my two daughters Bethan & Abbey - incredible and puts life in perspective...

Tailz worst memory?
Lots of not so good memories, some too painful to discuss..

Favourite Band/s?
AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Status Quo, UFO, Motley Crue, Guns & Roses, Ozzy, Y&T, Boston, Metallica etc. etc....

What do you like to drink?
Wine, Lager, Jack D (yes, I know but I actually really like the drink).

Who is your favourite guitarist(s).?
That would have to be Angus Young coz he rocks and I love the way he plays Blues licks and his sound - wicked feedback. Also, Randy Rhodes was a massive influence on me when I heard 'Diary of a Madman'. It was a real loss when he died. I've always been a great fan of Dave Meniketti of Y&T - I think he writes great songs and is a brilliant guitarist. Also, Slash, Ace Frehley, Zakk and not to mention the Daddy himself Mr  Edward Van Halen.

What's the best song you think the Tailz have written?

'I Believe' is one of the most complete songs I think we've written but I also think 'Heaven' is as good as any ballad out there. 'Male me Bleed' & 'Dirty Needles' are also great.

What equipment do you use for studio & live gigs?
I went through a lot of  Guitar processing equipment in the 80's coz that was the sound we wanted back then.  But now I keep it as simple as possible with a Les Paul straight into my JCM 900 Marshall 100w Amp and 2 * 1960 4 * 12 cabs.  I still use an ART Multiverb in the effects loop for solos - I've had this for years but it does the job.  In the studio it can be a combination of anything, various guitars, amps, effects can be used to get the sound we need.

What do you think about the Tailz reforming?
Wow, where to start..?  What people need to realise is that being in a band is not just a 'hobby' particularly when you have any kind of success.  Tigertailz was my life for many years and Kim & Pepsi are like brothers to me - even though we've been away for many years it's still in your blood.  Being in a band is like being 'in love'.., the feeling never leaves you even though you may be apart.
When we started talking again about doing something it just came naturally to us - we didn't have to force anything, this is our band and together we have made some great music.  So why shouldn''t we do it..?  We may be getting on a bit but if people keep buying our music they must like it.

What do you think about the Steevi James 'Tailz' reform thing?
Steve did call me and ask me if I would be interested but it just wasn't the right time for me.  Also,  I honestly believe our best music has come from the songs myself, Pepsi & Kim have written on Bezerk & later albums.  Fans have their own favourites but, from a personal point of view, I like the later stuff.  I wish Steve & Ace all the best with their project but for me this is the band I want to be in.

Do you think the Tailz (the Kim one) will record or play live again?
As I said, we're talking and things are going ok.  We've already recorded some new material (probably about an albums worth) and we are deciding if we should sell this new record via this Web site or try and get a deal.  We'll make a decision in the coming weeks / months.  As for playing live, we'll, if people wanna see us then I guess it will happen but we need to release some product first.

Do you have a final message for the Tailz fans?
Only to say thanks for everything and sticking with us.  We would like to come and see you all soon.  Hassle your local radio station to play our songs and you never know, we could be there sooner rather than later.  All the best for now and thanks again.
