From the moment the Tailz hit the stage there was absolutely no question what the fans wanted - song's from BEZERK! - and the boyz totally delivered. Starting with the Eastern strings Intro to Bezerk and ripping into 'Sick Sex' you just knew this was the real deal. Chris Stone replaced Mic Hourihan on the Drum stool and his rasping snare intro to 'Sick Sex' set the Tailz axe riffing like they'd never been away. 'Squeeze It Dry' followed and by the time the band ripped into the monster 'Love Overload' it was time to get the Kleenex out.!!. With Kim rocking the fans with his Paul Stanley Ibanez guitar and Jay and Pepsi looking like mutated Celtic Braveheart Warriors, this was the Tailz back to their supreme best and giving their fans what they'd waited so long for.

With Tailz fans now full into their mental swing 'Living Without You' got the crowd singing but the inclusion of 'Murderess' really took the roof off - never before have the Tailz played this song Live and it was a real gem and sure to be in their set for future gigs. With only a 30 minute set there wasn't time for too many more songs so it was down to 'Call Of The Wild' to finish the main part of the Tailz set with blistering precision. To us punters it felt as though the band had just started playing, but in reality we'd been rockin for over 25 minutes when Kim took us into the Tailz National Anthem 'Love Bomb Baby' - WOW, it may have been over 12 years since we'd seen the band do this song Live but it was worth the wait. A sing-a-long chorus in the middle gave us all chance to join in and scream our hearts out. By the end the band, the crowd and the Metro Arena had well and truly been Rocked and we wanted more. Sadly, it wasn't to be at this gig but what this performance showed was that Tigertailz are back and in fantastic form - for those of you who couldn't get to the gig be under no illusion, with Kim, Pepsi and Jay out front the Tigertailz are truly a powerhouse and give their fanz what they want. What a fantastic night and don't miss the next gig..!!!

Yes, Tigertailz have been confirmed to play the Venice Rock Festival on Friday 12th August. We're looking forward to seeing all our Italian fanz at the gig and all you other maniacs who can make it. See you all there for Rocking, Rollin and Beerz..!!!

At last an agreement has been reached with BMG (who recently acquired Music For Nations) to enable the Tailz to re-issue their previous albums & singles...

The band are now trying to finalise the legal aspects of this deal and have already been in talks with other record companies to re-issue the original 'Bezerk', & 'Banzai' albums.

Discussions are in an advanced stage with certain UK & US record companies with regard to releasing the new BEZERK 2.0 and some of the previous Tailz albums.

However, it seems unlikely that 'Young & Crazy' will be part of any re-issue deal due to the confusion being imposed on fans as a result of other illegal versions of the band..

The hold-up with the release of the new Tigertailz merchandise is due to problems with the shirt samples. A run of shirts were done by '3' separate shirt companies but they were 'ALL' deemed to be 'below standard' and the Tailz did not want these being sold as they felt their fans deserved better for their money.

Needless to say, a new supplier has been found and new samples are imminent. As soon as the shirt quality is approved the on-line ordering facility will 'go live' - hopefully within the next few weeks.

The Tailz have decided to make the new Demolition Mission album a FREE bonus CD with the first 1,000 copies of BEZERK 2.0. They felt this was a much better way of giving the true Tailz fans thanks for all their support.

In light of the agreement with BMG, the Music download section has been updated with extra FREE Tailz tracks from Bezerk & Banzai - go to the Music section NOW to get your FREE Tailz MP3's..

The band are looking into the possibility of placing their previous Promotional Videos on this site for FREE download. As always, Web space is the main issue but this will soon be resolved and you will be able to download your fav Tailz Videos for FREE...

As some of you have already seen, the Tailz have 'warmed up' their come-back campaign with an advert in the Classified section of Classic Rock magazine. Classic Rock is distributed world wide and the advert will run in both September & October editions of the magazine. There is also an ad in the November issue of Metal Hammer.

In just over 3 months since having the Hit Counter added, this site has recorded a massive 11,000+ hits.!!!

3,500 of these have come in the 3 weeks since the advert appeared in Classic Rock.

Also, the Message Board has had over 19,000 visitors & posts..!!!! Please get on there and register and join the other mental Tailz fans for some crazy chat..

The new Tigertailz line of merchandise is now in production. There will be a re-issue of the 1990 BEZERK shirt but with a new digitally mastered image (pic right) along with other new designs. These are the first designs done by Pepsi Tate for over 10 years... These new Tailz shirts (plus other stuff) will be on sale via this site in the next few weeks.!!!

The Demo CD production has just started. The guys are putting together a list of songs at the moment (some never heard by anyone). The Demo CD is provisionally titled 'DEMOLITION MISSION' and will contain a narrative by Kim, Pepsi & Jay about how many of the songs came into being. It is estimated that the production of this CD will take about 3-4 weeks so should be on sale in September.

Work has also started on BEZERK II the next Tigertailz album. The band are editing tracks for this new record and hope to release it by November this year.

The Tailz boyz are currently in discussions with a number of record companies about a deal for their new album.. They have only two more songs to record for the new record and then it's all systems go.. The original decision was to sell the new album directly from this site but things are starting to move with companies finding this site and being made aware that Tigertailz are FREE agents...

A new CD is being put together by the Tailz which will contain numerous Demo songs from 1988 - 1995. This new 'Demo' CD will also include interviews / narrative by Pepsi, Kim & Jay on how they wrote songs for Bezerk along with lots of tunes that never made a Tailz album. This will be a real 'fan' CD with raw recordings from simple Porta Studios to show how Tailz songs get transformed from an idea into the final album mix. One definite inclusion will be the original Demo that Kim recorded when he joined the Tailz. He sings 'Living Without You' and 'Shoot The Night Away' which later became 'Heaven'.

This will hopefully curb the Pirate stuff for sale on the Web and also allow fans to hear how the favourite Tailz songs actually came into being..

Pepsi's in and Mic Hourihan is the new Tailz Drummer..!!!!!!

Pepsi Tate & Mic Hourihan (pictured left) have agreed to join the Tailz to complete their final chapter. Pepsi confirmed the band have been writing & recording off & on over the last few years and a new Tigertailz album is about 80% complete.

"We probably have around 10 songs already recorded which we have edited and remixed. We may include a few 're-worked' songs off the Wazbones album as we feel certain songs (Make Me Bleed & Dirty Needles) never received the exposure they really deserved . Also, we're looking to record a few songs with Mic to include on the new album. As a band, I never thought The Tailz would do anything again and it's a major shock to see so much interest from fans all over the world. I'm really excited....."

After some lengthy discussions with Music For Nations, we are now able to make available certain Tigertailz songs for download (see Music link at the top of the page).

Hopefully, this is the first step in getting Music For Nations to re-issue the Tigertailz albums Young & Crazy & Bezerk along with various EP's the band released on MFN in the years gone by.

The Tailz would like to release a 'Best of' or Compilation album of the material they recorded with MFN. Hopefully, this can be agreed in the near future.... Watch this space....

I have received numerous pictures from the Tailz Boyz which are now in the 'Galleries' section. These have been split into two sections - 'Archive' & 'On-The-Road'...

The band have said they will be providing songs for the Music section a.s.a.p. They are currently checking the legal aspects of Copyright with previous Record Companies and hope to provide some songs in MP3 format 'soon'...

I have it on good authority that discussions are continuing between Kim Hooker, Jay Pepper & Pepsi Tate as to a reunion. It is also a possibility that 'Thighpaulsandra' (a.k.a. Tim Lewis) from Spiritualised 'may' appear in the new Tailz line-up on Keyboards. Tim was a huge contributor to the classic Tigertailz sound playing Keyboards on live shows (behind the scenes) and also producing many of their songs - The Tailz would like to publicly thank Tim for all his help over the years and look forward to working with him again. It is definitely the case that Jay & Kim have agreed to reform the band but Pepsi is still undecided due to work commitments. Also, no decision has been made as to who will fill the Drumming stool. Once the line-up is confirmed photos will be issued and this Web site will be 'officially' released.

The latest news I have is that Kim Hooker & Jay Pepper have both agreed to get the Tailz back together. There is still some uncertainty as to whether Pepsi Tate will be in the new line-up and also who will fill the drumming stool but it looks very likely that something will happen in the coming weeks / months.

I have been told that Kim, Jay, Pepsi & Andy Skinner have a full albums worth of material that they have recorded over the last few years which hasn't been released. Apparently, the guys are speaking to various Record & Management companies about a possible release. As soon as I here anything on this I'll put it up here...

This site has not yet been 'officially' released and is still very much under construction. However, a lot of fans have found the site and started emailing me questions. My position is that I'm in contact with the core members of the Tailz (Kim, Jay & Pepsi) who are supplying me with information. As soon as I have anything I'll put it up here...

		4th July 2005	After 12 Years Tigertailz come back to the Ball..!!! Newcastle Metro Arena - Sunday 26th June 2005 It's taken 12 years but on Sunday 26th June at the Demolition Ball Newcastle, Tigertailz hit the stage to make their first Live appearance together since the original Bezerk tours in 1990 / 1991. Kim, Jay Pepsi and new Drummer Chris Stone totally rocked the Metro Arena with a blistering set that had the Tailz fans screaming for more. Pepsi had the vision to employ someone to capture the whole day on film and there are numerous photos of the Tailz in the Gallery area now - check em out.!!! We can exclusively reveal the release date for Bezerk & Banzai - both albums will be in the shops on Monday 23rd May 2005. Both albums have been re-mastered in Sanctuary Studios and sound fantastic. Also, there's new artwork designed Pepsi Tate! The front covers look similar but have been enhanced while the Banzai cover has been completely re-drawn by Pepsi. The inside sleeves are totally different from the originals with loads of unreleased photos and amazing new drawings of me - Klint! Both albums also feature a new Bonus tracks taken from the original Wazbones sessions (1992) that were never released.. AND, if that wasn't enough, there's a special message in Bezerk from the Ghoul himself Wednesday 13 (see left) The track listing for BEZERK is: Sick Sex, Love Bomb Baby, I Can Fight Dirty Too, Noise Level Critical, Heaven, Love Overload, Action City, Twist & Shake, Squeeze It Dry, Call Of The Wild and Love Junkie (Bonus Track) Track listing for BANZAI is: Murderess, Living Without You, Million Dollar Smile, She'z To Hot, Creeping Death, Nine Livez, Peace Sells, For A Few Dollarz More, Taking The Pain and 'Love Can Kill (Bonus Track) Also, it's looking highly likely that the Tailz will do some Live dates later this year. The band are in discussions with promoters to do a few selective shows - possibly with a US band. 		28th January 2005	Tigertailz sign to Sanctuary Records...!!! It's taken a while but Tigertailz have at last secured a record deal with SANCTUARY RECORDS for the reissue of the BEZERK & BANZAI albums. The release dates are scheduled for May/June this year and both albums will have new artwork done by the man himself Pepsi Tate! Whilst the front covers will look the same there will be a re-work of the inside sleeve design containing unreleased photos of the band. Also, both albums will each feature a new Bonus track... BEZERK will feature the original version of 'Love Junkie' and BANZAI will have the song 'Love Can Kill' - both songs are the unreleased versions from the original Wazbones recordings in 1992. There is also a rumour that the band may do a few LIVE dates this summer. As soon as anything is confirmed it will be put on this site.

The band have arranged a Credit Card facility and the Shirt design(s) are being discussed with Pepsi taking the reigns for any artwork. Due to popular demand, there may well be a re-issue of the Bezerk shirt as lots of fans have requested it.. 		At last, Pepsi's Profile now uploaded..	I finally managed to pin down the 'face of 80's Kerrang' (Pepsi Tate) to complete his likes & dislikes profile.. A very warm and honest Pepsi talked about how he never thought the Tailz would do anything again. But, within a few short months their almost at the point of releasing a new album. Pepsi explained, "we'd talked off & on over the last few years about doing something but I really never thought anything would come of it. Until recently I didn't see Kim or Jay very often but on the rare occasion we did meet up the topic of reforming always came up. We've all got other lives now but I think we can still come together to create a few more albums - we'll see how it goes.."

It is also a possibility that 'Thighpaulsandra' (a.k.a. Tim Lewis) from Spiritualised 'may' appear in the new Tailz line-up on Keyboards. Tim was a huge contributor to the classic Tigertailz sound playing Keyboards on live shows (behind the scenes) and also producing many of their songs - The Tailz would like to publicly thank Tim for all his help over the years and look forward to working with him again. It is definitely the case that Jay & Kim have agreed to reform the band but Pepsi is still undecided due to work commitments. Also, no decision has been made as to who will fill the Drumming stool. Once the line-up is confirmed photos will be issued and this Web site will be 'officially' released.

		One Step Closer to a Tailz Reunion	The latest news I have is that Kim Hooker & Jay Pepper have both agreed to get the Tailz back together. There is still some uncertainty as to whether Pepsi Tate will be in the new line-up and also who will fill the drumming stool but it looks very likely that something will happen in the coming weeks / months.
		New Tailz Album Already Recorded...?	I have been told that Kim, Jay, Pepsi & Andy Skinner have a full albums worth of material that they have recorded over the last few years which hasn't been released. Apparently, the guys are speaking to various Record & Management companies about a possible release. As soon as I here anything on this I'll put it up here...
		The Release of this Site	This site has not yet been 'officially' released and is still very much under construction. However, a lot of fans have found the site and started emailing me questions. My position is that I'm in contact with the core members of the Tailz (Kim, Jay & Pepsi) who are supplying me with information. As soon as I have anything I'll put it up here...
