Work Experience

February 98 - March 99 Systems Officer at Bradford Education

Following my placement I was employed at Edit where I designed and created their website and also provided support for schools going online. In January 99 Bradford LEA was chosen to be part of the National Grid for Learning which involved schools being connected to a WAN using frame relay technology. I was involved in the website and also in the training of schools to use the new system. My reason for leaving was due to the expiration of my contract.

July 96 - October 96 Work Placement at Pace Micro Technology

I was a general IT assistant, I shadowed and helped various people in the IT department. I also helped a wide range of people, with different levels of computer literacy, with various problems.

I spent 3 months as a Camp Manager in Egypt towards the end of 1995. I was responsible for camp security, registering new guests and organising trips.

I have also undertaken two other work placements. In 1991 I spent 2 months at a newly formed shareware company and in 1992 I spent 2 months at an established software house.
