Time to start working on the huge pile of bits in my workshop. No.72 was destined for the USA in a former life but did not actually make it. Left hand drive modification has to be undone. Only the steering column bracket had been moved to the dark side. This was hacksawn off and welded back in it's original location. (thanks Greg)
Preparing and painting is a very time consuming part of the project. Everywhere I look is another box of bits needing sorting and identifying. At this point I am faced with a lot of parts which may be ready for assembly if I new where they belong and what they actually are. I must nip down to the motor factors and pick up a workshop manual.
So far all the parts I have been working on had been prepared and primed before I purchased the car. The next load are untouched and will need de-rusting first.
