BC, from Peterborough, writes
I felt listened to, understood and celebrated a sense of my individual uniqueness. This quiet strength that had been brought to my attention - not given to me, as it was always mine, always within me. This feeling was the best bit (such inadequate words for such empowerment). I left that day feeling relaxed but not with a thunderbolt repulsion of cigarettes and smoking that I felt I should have. Part of me felt let down - this had not worked for me. I was, much to the delight of my partner, able to sit in the non smoking part of restaurants, not smoke after eating. My appetite did not increase, if anything it decreased as food got tastier. I wouldn't say I'm a non smoker I'm just waiting a while before I have the next one. I write this in January 2004 and this is how it's been for me since October 2003.
