The CCV is a nationally recognised vocational qualification, which focuses on important areas that anyone who is volunteering needs to know.
It is available at both level 1 and 2.
At present, only level 2 is available as a distance learning course online.
The CCV is a QCA approved course and is equivalent to 2 grade 'B' passes at GSCE.
To achieve the certificate you need to build up a portfolio of your voluntary work.
It doesn't matter whether you are building walls, working with children, mentoring or campaigning, the CCV should fit in with what you are doing.
