Cost

The CCV is free to anyone who is aged 16-18, unwaged, or in receipt of the following benefits:

Incapacity Benefit/Invalid Care Allowance/Severe Disablement Allowance - only eligible if also receiving council tax or housing benefit as well.

It is also free if you are over 19 years old and do not already have a full level 2 qualification.

Otherwise the cost of the course is negotiable up to a maximum of £250.00 depending on individual circumstances.

If you are volunteering and working (part-time or full-time), it might be worth finding out if there is any way your organisation is able to help cover some of the cost of the course through volunteer expenses or as part of an organisation's training budget or fund.

If they are unable to help and you still really want to do the course, then you could contact us via e-mail. If you tell us about your individual circumstances we can discuss other ways that you might be able to get help covering the cost of the course.
