In response to an idea by the editors of the MK1 Cortina Owner's Club, all the Cortinas able to go out on 1st January 2000, did so, and here is our photograph to prove it.
This was taken in very bright sunshine, around mid-day on 1st January 2000, about five miles from our home in Magor, South Wales.
I am the one in sun glasses, the other one is my 12-year old son, David !
