I believe I have every workshop manual ever printed for the MK1 Cortina. I have the following workshop manuals on my bookshelves:-
Autodata Car Repair Manual, by David Penn, ISBN 0-85666-044-2, Published by Autodata, in 1980. Autodata Ltd, St Peter's Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 7QU, United Kingdom. A good, all-round manual with loads of illustrations.
Ford Cortina MK1 & Corsair 1500 Owners Workshop Manual, by Haynes, address above. ISBN 0-
Miscellaneous
"How to Restore Electrical & Ignition Systems" by Peter Wallage. Published by Osprey 0-85045-538-3 (address above.) Lots of info on electrical bits.
"Automotive Electrical and Electronic Systems Manual" by A Trantor. Published by Haynes 1-85960-049-2. Address above. Lots of electric info, but maybe a bit heavy on theory and a bit too "modern" for our cars, but I got my copy second-hand and very cheap it was too!
"Automotive Welding Manual" by Jay Storer. Published by Haynes 1-85960-201-0. Address above. Lots of info about all sorts of welding systems, gas, electric etc. Again, I got mine quite cheaply on the second-hand market.
"Castrol book of Achievements 1964". A nice to have little book showing various period racing, rallying etc photos. Mostly black and white. I am paying around £4 or £5 for second hand copies in good condition. There is a rather nice picture of the East African Safari winning car in this book.
"Castrol book of Achievements 1965". See above. There is a nice cut-away drawing of a MK1 rally car in this book.
"Castrol book of Achievements 1966". See above.
