Cymdeithas Defaid Lleyn Cyf

(Lleyn Sheep Society Ltd)

The Lleyn Sheep Society was formed in 1970 when a few dedicated breeders, realising that the breed was in danger of extinction came together with a view to ensuring the survival of the breed. From that dedicated nucleus the Society has grown to a membership of some 500 plus enthusiastic breeders.

This success is due in not only to those stalwarts who founded the Society, but also to the qualities of the Lleyn ewe and her ability to pass those on to her offspring.

The Society now has  Lleyn Breeders Groups all over the UK and  holds annual sales  at venues at Gaerwen, Anglesey, Ross-on-Wye, Builth, Kelso and Carlisle

Promotional literature, newsletter, details of annual sales etc may be obtained from the Society's web page
