Over the past six years i have exhibited prints, sculptures, photographs and installations in a range of local and national venues. With the intention of reviewing and redirecting my practice in November 2002, following an Artists residency in India, i began a part time MA in Contemporary Visual Arts at Falmouth College of Arts. This has lead to a major shift in my practice away from the object towards a more process based work. I recently completed a large photographic installation, "Parkarama" wich was a response to my work on the residency in India, exploring ideas of birth and rebirth. The 732 X A4 images forming a 16ft diametre zoetrope. Ongoing projects "The Fluff Collection" this involves the monthly collection of the filter fluff from mine and others tumble dryers, and "Hands", the daily recording of my hands by any means available. The subsequent diary being presented as a developing Powerpoint presentation. I am currently developing a collaborative project with Dave Wheatcroft, a colleague on the MA course. This project seeks to provide a means of addressing community concerns through the provision of a digital interactive communication and archiving system.
