Brief Spec: Based on the chassis and running gear from a Triumph Spitfire MkIV with overdrive transmission. The overdrive has been modified to give 8 forward and 2 reverse gears!!!!!! The fuel tank is a custom made alloy foam filled unit. I have gone for this as the tank is a little vulnerable if some idiot runs into the back of me. To stop some tea leaf taking it away, I have fitted a Race-tech removable steering wheel. According to the press reports from the early eighties,when the car was originally launched by John Cowperthwaite, it should be good for a 0-60mph dash in about 7or 8 seconds and top out at about the ton. Plenty fast enough as there is no windscreen.
