Information Required I am currently trying to find three airmen (or their families), who survived World War II, these are:
Sgt F. Barrett (Service Number: 1387535) Sgt Barrett was a wireless operator in 514 Squadron. He spent time in the RAF Hospital at Ely in March/April 1944, with a broken leg. I am very keen to find him.
F. Betson (Service Number: 1682564) Who was in training with Sunny. He used to live at 12 Waterloo Crescent, Feltham, Middlesex.
S.D. Cook (Service Number: 1580183) Who was also in training with Sunny. He used to live at 18 Lygon Street, New Brumly, Scunthorpe, Lincs.
I am also currently trying to find relatives of the following men:
John Clare Gilberson-Pritchard Who was a pilot in 218, 514 and then 154 Squadrons.
William Earle Brown Who was a bombaimer in 218 and then 514 Squadrons. He was the son of William G. Brown and Mabel Hall Brown, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Alan William Green Who was a navigator in 514 Squadron. He was the son of William Green and Minnie Green and the husband of Ellen Rose Green, of Quinton, Warwickshire.
