Group Visits

Groups are welcome, and we offer a group discount. Evening bookings are also possible, and foreign language and special needs guides are available with prior notice.

Please note - all group visits must be pre-booked.

Educational Visits

We welcome both Primary and Secondary schools. Your visit will cover the cottages and the way of life in the old North End. We can also guide you around the Chapel of St. Nicholas - the 'Fisherman's Chapel' - as well as to the Common Staithe river quay and around the historic North End. We cann also offer the use of our school's room, which can be used for group activities and eating packed lunches.

Worksheets are also available, all of which are tailored tow the National Curriculum.

We can also offer facilities to Further and Higher Education groups.

Family History

Does your family have roots in King's Lynn? We have available transcribed and indexed records from the census and other local parish sources. We also hold a unique index of references to local craft, notably the local fishing boats.

Research

Our local history library and archives are available to researchers and students researching projects.

We also hold regular Local History courses.
