True's Yard Museum Today
| What would 'Timo'van Pelt and 'Sam' Southgate
(right), the old North End Pilot, make of True's Yard if they came here today? They would certainly recognise the cottages, as they have been faithfully restored to match the way they would have been decorated and furnished in 1850 and 1920. They wouldn't recognise the old Smithy, as this now houses displays on North End life and the Wash fishery. The Naval Reserve is no longer a pub, as it houses more displays, as well as our archive rooms. What would Timo and Sam make of our new computer suite and education rooms there, as well? |
