DUCERAGOLD and DUCERAM LFC
The main areas of Crown and Bridge work are :
A single Crown which fits on or over an existing tooth which may be broken, diseased or simply unattractive to look at.
A Bridge required when teeth are missing and there is a gap to be filled.

An Inlay basically an alternative to traditional filling materials such as amalgam or composite (white fillings).
A Veneer also called facings, veneers are a simple method of improving the appearance of front teeth. This is achieved by cementing (sticking) a thin layer of natural tooth-coloured materials onto the front surface of an existing tooth. To do this properly, some reduction of the existing tooth may be necessary.
For many years, dental Crown and Bridgework has been available in a variety of materials ranging from plastic or porcelain for the tooth coloured surfaces that you can see to stainless steel or gold for the metal substructures or strengtheners that you cannot see.
Some materials are better than others and naturally, some are more expensive than others. Some are available on the National Health Service and some are only available privately.
The DUCERAGOLD technique is a combination of two of the very best materials currently available :-
GOLD - first used dentally over 2000 years ago and acknowledged as one of the safest materials to use in the mouth and
LOW FUSING CERAMIC (LFC) - recommended for its natural look and feel and strength.
