The Sandpiper in action..

The Sandpiper’s portability makes it indispensable to ground staff in parks, schools, sports facilities, tennis courts and of course cricket grounds.

The Sandpiper can remove up to 25mm of water with each pass, works equally well on natural and artificial grass and all the main metal work is zinc plated steel for extra long life. An aluminium squeeze roller squeezes water through a perforated cylinder into the holding tank.

Thumbscrews adjust the pressure on the sponge and a spring controls the pressure. There is a sight gauge that shows the water tank level this is turned 90 degrees for quick emptying. The wheels are for storage and running over rough ground.

The sponge absorbs the water and is available in extra absorbent or extra long life.
