Star Wars Heading
Role Playing Game.

The Star Wars Tournament Heroes Project.

The Star Wars films are full of heroes. The problem with Star Wars is that there are lots of Lucas Film directives about using major characters or places from the films. You are not allowed to kill off anyone important or blow up the odd planet that has or may appear in any of the current or future films. Any thing before Star Wars-A New Hope is a bit dodgy, and the Clone Wars are a definite No No! The idea is to ensure that each published bit of Star Wars material adds to the myth and folk law and not contradicts it. It becomes a bit awkward when Luke Skywalker accidentally chops his own head off with his light sabre because a player rolled a one on his wild dice and Luke has still got to be in 2 more films and another 20 books. So how do we get heroes in our tournaments that players know and have heard of?

We create our own. There are six pre-generated characters that were originally designed to be used with the scenario 'A Simple Pickup' (UK Polyhedron Issue 3&4). They are well tested to 'gel' with each other. They all have fully rounded backgrounds and a good set of interacting personalities. No character hates any other but each has at least one pet niggel with another character. With a good group you can just role-play them for hours without even touching the adventure. These will be published in The UK Polyhedron (Issue 3) and are readily available for GM's to use in future tournaments. This may one-day mean that players can sit down at a tournament in the UK and feel like they are using one of the big heroes from the films. And they may even become a part of that folk law them selves.

If you would like to know more of these characters click here.

The rest of this page will contain lots of useful information for Star Wars RPG. Things like character sheets deck plans and scenarios, new races, player handout blanks, NPC's and new locations for use by you GM's out there. Plus anything else I think might be useful.
There is however one small problem....

I AIN'T WRITTEN IT YET!

West End Games don't have a web site, so for now hear is a link to a Star Wars RPG site that has some useful info on it.
