Blanche
Glimmer came to Vervale as a foal, and is the
cornerstone of the stud. This beautiful
grey mare has big, wide-set eyes, a
refined head and tremendous movement, powering
off her hocks, typical of her pedigree.
She much resembles her sire, Canadian
Champion stallion, Springbourne Boy Blue,
who himself was a son of the much admired
Royal Welsh Champion- Breachwood Marwyn.
Glimmer was the first foal of the
ethereal Springbourne Gemma, a mare that
comes from an outstanding family of
great and wonderful ponies.
Glimmer,
a supreme champion herself, has produced some
fabulous foals. All her babies that
have been shown have been Champions-
including the HOYS Cuddy Breeders Supreme
qualifier, Vervale Gabbana and The Royal
Welsh Youngstock Champion reserve, Vervale
Galileo. I owe so much to this
amazing mare !
