Summary: "Spock's Brain", Voyager style. A response to Alara Rogers's series shift challenge at ASC.
"How could this have happened, Doctor?" Captain Janeway stared down at the anaesthetized body of her First Officer.
"I believe alien intruders were responsible for the theft," the EMH replied.
"Are you sure this operation is going to work?"
"This new holographic brain will be almost indistinguishable from the original. You may even notice some improvement since I have added some of my own enhanced algorithms."
"But will he be the same as he was before the theft?" Janeway asked anxiously.
"Captain, his brain has been missing since Season 4. You cannot expect total restoration this late in the journey."
