"I just don't understand what went wrong." O'Brien morosely watched a young ensign approach Garak at the far end of Quark's bar. "The specs came directly from Starfleet Command; I programmed the replicators myself."
Bashir looked at the pink and yellow stripes across the shoulders of the ensign's uniform, and tried not to smile.
"What colour did you say they were supposed to be?"
"The specs were definitely for black uniforms with grey shoulders."
"And Garak seems to be in demand to make the alterations," Bashir said thoughtfully, watching Garak pay Quark a bar of latinum for just one drink….
