Before making your submission below, check the appropriate page on this site to see if the update is already recorded.
When composing your submission, consider these points:
Indicate the Publisher (Nicholson, Imray etc), Guide Number/Name, and edition (Year) first.
Describe the update according to the text in the guide or a feature on a map. (It's not helpful for those unfamiliar with a location and attempting to plan a trip to say something is "by the City Walls" if the Guide makes no mention of them and there is no indication of their location on the accompanying map.)
If possible, suggest a precise form of words to be used on the site. (e.g. "Delete the word xxx", "Replace the second sentence with xxxx".)
Keep submissions impersonal. (i.e. Avoid the use of "I", "we", "our family" etc.).
Give facts, dates and examples rather than opinion. (Attempting to interpret a submission that says, "We found xxx very unhelpful and rude." into a reliable and valid entry is problematic.)
Be aware of seasonal variations. (You may have found six foot high nettles were a problem on your visit, but they may have been mown the following week, and they are unlikely to pose the same problem in winter.) Phrase your update accordingly.
