The Watford Town and Country Club is situated right in the heart of Watford (a 2 minute walk from the town centre),and is a club that is both forward thinking and uniquely geared to the day to day needs of its members - be they Business or Private.

Built in the 60's, it has now become a Private Members Club with no affiliations, and membership is open to everyone - at surprisingly low rates. Under the guidance of the General Manager,Peter Munday, you would be hard pressed to find anywhere as comfortable or relaxed. It may be that you are just coming in for a lunchtime snack or a relaxing drink with friends in the evening, it has been said that this is somewhere you will feel immediately at home with it's caring staff who will always make you fell welcome no matter when this is or who you are. The club is often used for TV like The Vice(ITV) and every now and then stars of stage and screen like Elton John and Barbara Windsor have been known to be having a drink in the bar or a bite to eat in the restaurant.

If you want to plan a function or a never -to-be- forgotten event like your Wedding Reception, nothing is too much trouble as Peter Munday recognises the fact that this is YOUR DAY, so will help as much as he can for this to go well. You will find the beautiful grounds a surprising bonus too. Very much part of the Watford's business and social scene, it will add a new perspective to your life, and the Welcome, we promise you, is always warm.

Also as a bonus is the Car Park which is under 24hrs surveillance so therefore is very good when you are looking to hold a function knowing that you have somewhere to leave your car.
